EVERYBODY WEAVES*

It's llamas to looms and beyond!  Weaving is one of the simplest and oldest ways of creating cloth and fabric, not to mention how easily it integrates math, science, art, and critical small motor skills.  The slideshow takes you around the world visiting weavers practicing their ancestors’ techniques to make clothing that lasts a lifetime.  

 

Fiber work is the perfect tool for boosting fine motor and cognitive skills, self-esteem, regulating anxiety and stress, and increasing happiness!

 

Making Tsikuli / Gods' Eyes is also an option.  

 

Best for ages 8 years to adult, age 5-7 with hands-on adult help
