PLANT-ABLE SEED BALLS

The act of making and planting these (or randomly throwing) began as a way to encourage green growth in barren landscapes.  You'll support the greening or flowering of your favorite patch of earth by forming a ball of clay, seeds, dirt and water.  Plant it and wait for flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies!

Best done with small groups or a rotation of small groups, this activity requires a good sweeping or vacuuming afterward.
