CORN & CORN HUSK DOLLS
Hand crafting with corn husks is a centuries old tradition throughout the Americas and wherever corn grows. This may be one of the oldest forms of doll-making on our side of the world. Create your own doll using corn husks and your tying and knotting skills!
Endless possibilities abound connecting this activity to academics or celebration -- Indigenous peoples, history, social sciences, plant and physical sciences, and of course making things with our hands in general, or for entertainment and playing.
