This workshop intersects science, history, and folk art, using ancient engineering and traditional skills.  Options include constructing a boat from reusable household items or using gathered twigs, stems, reeds, and sticks.  Not needing batteries nor electricity, it is the ultimate toy making opportunity -- stretching imaginations, building skills, practicing ingenuity and resourcefulness, and providing a chance to experiment and play!
