BASKET WEAVING INTENSIVE

BASKET WEAVING INTENSIVE

Basket weaving is one of the oldest handcrafts and techniques used by humans.  For thousands of years people have woven plants into baskets for carrying, storing, fishing, and even as airtight cooking containers and hats.  Basket weaving utilizes math, science, history, art, AND small motor skills!  Learn how to twine a basket using paper twist.  Group size is limited to ensure participants receive individual help.

Why it is INTENSIVE:

One instructor helps each participant in the beginning, 1:1 or 1:2 taking approximately 5 minutes with each pair.  Materials are prepared in advance or can be prepared by participants during the workshop.
