How much do YOU know about our California ancestors?  From our beaches and woods to today's neighborhoods, our Bay Area is and was home to indigenous First Peoples before anyone else.  Learn how ancient ways are preserved today—of using plants for everything, from handmade fishing nets to baskets, baby carriers, hairbrushes, sea-going vessels, and toys.  Handle artifacts, then practice using your knot tying, weaving skills, and strong hands to make a boat that floats!

Best for participants 8 and older.
